Dance has never just been about exercise for me, it’s been a part of who I am – it’s when I’m at my most powerful. When I lose myself in the music my self critic is silenced, my emotions are channelled and I feel like a force!
But it was only when I stopped dancing and experienced my own discomfort, that I realised just how much it had been fuelling my wellbeing over the years and not just my passion.

In a world where much of our time is spent behind technology or in sedentary jobs, we’re often stuck in our minds letting our bodies become stagnant and disconnected. This can greatly impact our wellbeing and leave us vulnerable to stress, overthinking, anxiety and low mood. But dance can help reconnect us, by allowing our bodies to feel again, the way they were meant to!
